The 2025 Gecko Ball, hosted by the Gulfport Merchants Chamber, is Gulfport’s most anticipated end-of-summer celebration—an eclectic, high-energy evening filled with live music, dancing, and nonstop fun. This quirky, costume-filled party features a live auction of incredible local art (on display starting August 1 at the Hickman Theater), a silent auction packed with unique items, a lively costume contest, the crowning of the Gecko Queen, photo ops, food trucks (or BYO feast), and adult beverages available by donation. Plus as an added bonus, Every guest receives a free “Gecko World” t-shirt featuring exclusive artwork by world-renowned Gulfport artist Ray Domingo. With its signature blend of art, music, community spirit, and just the right amount of mischief, the Gecko Ball captures the vibrant soul of Gulfport like no other event—don’t miss your chance to party Gecko-style!

Costumes as always are encouraged! This year, we’re celebrating the Ball’s history, so break out your costumes from a previous year, or come up with something entirely new.
