Important Update: Holiday IndieFaire Cancellation and Revised Submission Details

We hope this message finds you well. Regrettably, we must announce the cancellation of the Holiday IndieFaire scheduled for 12/16/23 due to adverse weather forecasts that pose safety concerns for all participants and visitors.
While this decision was not made lightly, your safety remains our top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
Revised Shop Local Raffle Details:
In light of the cancellation, the location to turn in your receipts and entries for the Shop Local raffle has been changed to the Gulfport Merchants Chamber of Commerce tent during the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market on December 19th.
- Submission Deadline: Please ensure all receipts and entries are submitted by 2 pm during the Tuesday market.
- Drawings: The drawings will take place at 3 pm on Facebook Live.
We understand the importance of this event and want to make the submission process as smooth as possible for everyone. We appreciate your flexibility and cooperation in adapting to these changes.

Gulfport Merchants Chamber Launches 2023 Shop Local Campaign: Building on Last Year's Success
GULFPORT, FL – October 11, 2023– Following the resounding success of the Shop Local Holiday Campaign in 2022, the Gulfport Merchants Chamber is excited to announce the launch of their 2023 Shop Local Campaign. With a commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering community spirit, the Chamber invites residents and visitors alike to join in the celebration of the holiday season through conscious and intentional shopping.
Last year's Shop Local Holiday Campaign, which culminated in the 3rd Saturday IndieFaire on December 17th, saw enthusiastic participation from the Gulfport community. The Gulfport Merchants Chamber encouraged everyone to embrace the spirit of the season by patronizing local businesses. Each receipt from a Gulfport Merchants Chamber Member served as an entry for exciting prizes, with the drawing taking place at the Holiday Market-themed Indie Faire.
Building on the success of the previous campaign, the 2023 Shop Local initiative promises even more excitement and rewards. The Gulfport Merchants Chamber aims to amplify the impact of supporting local businesses by extending the campaign duration and introducing additional festive elements.
Key Highlights of the 2023 Shop Local Campaign:
- Extended Duration: The campaign kicks off on November 1st, and will run until the 3rd Saturday IndieFaire on December 16th, 2023.
-Prizes Galore: Every receipt from a Gulfport Merchants Chamber Member is a chance to win fantastic prizes. The drawing will take place at the Holiday Market-themed Indie Faire on December 16th, 2023, at 7 PM. Participants need not be present to win.
- Expanded Indie Faire Hours: Responding to popular demand, the market hours for the Indie Faire have been extended from 2 PM to 9 PM.
- Fun and Festive Additions: Expect more at the Indie Faire with additional fun and festive elements to enhance the holiday shopping experience.
