10 Oct 2016

GULFPORT, FLORIDA: Due to a forecast of inclement weather on Monday, October 3rd, the first-ever Gulfport Chefs Table event has been postponed until the following Monday, October 10th , 6pm until 10pm. All details regarding the event are unchanged except the date. Participants with existing reservations will be welcomed on the new date. Questions regarding existing reservations may be directed to the restaurant with which reservations were made. Some seats are still available with participating restaurants that have not yet sold out.

The event will highlight Gulfport’s thriving food scene and featuring the offerings of nine local restaurants and chefs at a long community table set up in the center of Beach Boulevard in Gulfport’s historic Waterfront District. Each participating restaurant/chef has created a 4-course prix fixe menu and diners may choose any of the nine menus being offered, ranging in price from $40 to $80 per person, plus tax. Prices include wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverage choices. Participating restaurants are Backfin Blue Café, Boca Bay Grille, Fish Bar & Grill, Isabelle’s at the Peninsula Inn, Mangia Gourmet, Neptune Grille, O’Maddy’s, Pia’s Trattoria, and Smokin’ J’s BBQ. Tables will be assembled end-to-end to accommodate diners, with décor created by each restaurant for its own section of seating. Fine dining details including white tablecloths, china, glassware and full table service will be included.
