CASA is a local non-profit organization providing services to survivors of abuse or violence.

CASA’s Director of Advancement, Nicole Worthington, recognizes that factors such as fear of more violence and lack of financial or community resources often prevent people from leaving abusive situations.
“Once the courageous decision to leave is made, survivors often have no possessions. This is an opportunity for the community to come out and show support for some of our neighbors in their time of need, as they prepare to begin a new life. Simply go through your closets and pick out some gently used items. Then enjoy the swap, knowing that all remaining clothing will be donated to CASA to help others.”
Over 250 large bags of clothing and hundreds of dollars have been donated to CASA since the clothing swap was started in 2010.
The clothing swap is co-sponsored by the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market and the Gulfport Merchants Association.
